Welcome to the Act 4 Him Drama Ministry, a husband and wife traveling ministry “Guiding lives to Christ with One-Man Biblical Dramas”. Let us introduce ourselves to you - Matthew and Tina Zawisza, two of God’s children who have now become one with Jesus Christ.

WHY DRAMA?
We believe without a doubt that the Bible is a Christian’s guidebook in life. We believe it is God breathed and word for word truth. BUT for many people it is ”a book” that is difficult to understand. Which is why many people do not read it. Our mission therefore is to make the Bible easier for people to understand and enjoy by breathing life into it. Click here for Mission Statement That life of course is created by drama. We are simply giving people a visual of what they have read. Studies have proved that the average person retains only 10 percent of what they are taught. When you add a visual to that same teaching they remember 40 percent. That is a 400% increase!! Act 4 Him is simply trying to do this with God’s Word for His children - you. Performed in complete period costume, the audience is propelled back in time to hear about events they’ve only read about.

WE ARE A MINISTRY…NOT A THEATER GROUP
Act 4 Him is not a theater group. We are not a drama team. We do not perform shows. WE ARE A MINISTRY whose focus is to give people the opportunity to make a decision for Christ. The way we do this is by the gifts that have been given to us from above: Matthew with his gift of acting and Tina with her gift of reaching people either over the telephone or in person.

DRAMA IS THE SEED, GOD DOES THE GROWING
In First Corinthians, Paul explained to his readers something that has stuck dearly to us. He said that when he was with them he simply planted a seed but God caused it to grow. Drama is our seed. Each drama is eventually led to an invitation, an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If God by the power of His Spirit has been drawing someone’s heart, then a witness to that growth will take place. We can humbly but proudly admit that a changed life is wholly and completely dependent upon the Holy Spirit, not by acting or some performance.

ADULTS AND CHILDREN
Act 4 Him is a ministry for all ages! We have both adult and children dramas, both with the same message. Most of our dramas are adaptable to suit any age group meaning we can take an adult drama and turn it into a children’s drama. Though we do have dramas specifically for the children, preschool and up.

OUR HOME CHURCH
We attend the High Bridge Christian Church in Schenectady, NY and are part of their ministry team. Our pastor is James Bookout whose vision to reach “the lost and unchurched” is something we admire and cherish about him. Even though the Bridge is our home church, every church door the Lord opens for us feels like a home church.

OUR PRAYER 
Our constant prayer is that God will continue to use us as vessels to bring others closer to Him. We look at ourselves simply as “Fishers of men - We catch them, He’ll clean them!” It’s Him we surrender to every day and it’s Him and His children whom we are serving.

OUR STORY
How did we meet? That story, my friend, is a story we only share at our ministry engagements. Why? Because it is an absolute, perfect example of how God hears and answers specific prayers. It minsters to us everyday when we think back of how we met and the circumstances He created so it could happen. We were part of a bigger plan for a very long time. Though we can’t give you details, we will tell you this - it really is what dreams are made of. And God receives all of the credit! Both of us were Christians when we met, but that relationship with our Father has soared since we began worshipping Him together. We learn from each other every day, we study His Word every day, we fall in love with each other more every day. But most importantly, we fall in love with Jesus more every day together. This ministry consists of the seven of us: Matthew, Tina, a dog (Maverick), three cats (Angel, Faith, Moses), and most important Jesus. Our pets are our children, and we are God’s children. All together on the road for one purpose - Spreading the Good News!

THE FUTURE
We do not know what the future holds, but we do know the One who is leading us does. Act 4 Him is our lives now. It is our passion and our love. We do not perform drama to impress people or to give them a “show”. We perform drama to change lives and lead people to Christ. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. We can never anticipate where the Lord will send us, or if the Lord will send us at all. It isn’t our choice, it’s His. But we do know one thing for sure: Jesus is our greatest Love in the world. It is Him we are serving. He is our only strength in all this, we are simply His children whose eyes are laid upon Him. The greatest gift in the world is the Love of Christ. The second greatest gift for us is this ministry.
